MIDLETON DISTILLERY EXPERIENCE

Midleton Distillery Experience visitor centre has undergone an extensive multi-million-euro redevelopment. It has been transformed into a new world-class, multi-sensory Irish whiskey experience in advance of Midleton Distillery's 200th anniversary in 2025. The building has been remodelled in order to accommodate new interactive whiskey tours, as well as different sampling experiences. This will allow visitors to learn more about the past, present and future of Irish whiskey production at Midleton Distillery. The redeveloped site has the potential to welcome more than 200,000 domestic and international visitors to the East Cork region annually and will further cement Midleton's reputation as a world-class whiskey destination.

LIMERICK PRISON B-WING & FEMALE WING

This project entailed designing and constructing a new five-storey B Division (11,000 sq. m.) attached to the existing Limerick Prison and a stand-alone two-storey female prison facility (6,900 sq. m.). The new modern B Division, replacing the existing A and B wings, provide 102 modern cells with complete in-cell sanitation. The B Division structure is a precast concrete frame with small elements of in-situ RC concrete rising walls and structural steel framing to support the precast floor slabs, precast walls and slabs. This includes finished precast slabs to cell areas. The roof is a structural steel portal frame with composite roof panels and rooflights over cell areas. All windows and doors are Irish Prison Service (IPS) high-security fittings with a complete access control system adhering to IPS requirements. Tie-in works to the existing Prison Circle building required detailed coordination and the installation of secure segregation screens between the construction site and the live prison cell wings.

Spencer Place Residential is a modern residential development in the heart of Dublin’s vibrant Docklands. Divided into two blocks, the 12,600m² development consists of 329 build-to-rent apartments and 64 co-living units, along with ample amenity space, gardens and shared community facilities.

DB SCHENKER LOGISTICS FACILITY

The DB Schenker Logistic Facility project involved the construction of a new warehouse and logistics facility at the Liffey Business Campus, Leixlip, Co. Kildare. PJ Hegarty took possession of the greenfield site in 2021 with a 12-month program to complete the construction of the 20,000m2 warehouse, three-storey adjoining office block, car park, delivery yard, campus access roads, attenuation pond and other ancillary works.
