PJ Hegarty is thrilled to have taken away two awards at the prestigious Irish Construction Excellence Awards at the gala ceremony in the Convention Centre Dublin on Thursday 27th April. Our first award of the night was the 'Fit Our or Refurbishment Over €30m' award for refurbishing and developing the protected building, Tropical Fruit Warehouse. Our second award of the night was the 'Health, Safety & Wellbeing Initiative – T/O Over €200m' award for our “Don’t Walk By” safety programme.

Congratulations to PJ Hegarty & Sons Contracts Manager, Pierce O'Donnell, who won the Construction Manger Award for the Guinness Storehouse Gravity Bar Extension and Hub Building project at the prestigious ICE Awards 2022, held on Saturday night at the National Convention Centre.

Congratulations to Pierce O'Donnell for winning Project Manager of the Year at the Irish Construction Industry Awards, in recognition for his performance on the Guinness Gravity Bar project. The award ceremony was held last night at Dublin's Mansion House.

Congratulations to Wilson Architecture and the PJ Hegarty & Sons project team who were involved in the Penrose Quay office project in Cork City. At yesterday's digital ceremony, the Penrose Quay project achieved the Building of the Year in the Large Office Category and the Overall Building of the Year Award 2021. This is a significant achievement for everyone involved  to get this recognition given the level of competition.

10 Molesworth Street has been nominated in the BuIlding Category at the Irish Concrete Society 38th Awards Evening & Annual Dinner, the prestigIous event will take place on Saturday 21st March in The Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road. The new six storey office building, developed by IPUT, has a 12,733m² gross floor area over a double basement car park. PJ Hegary & Sons were the main contraCtor for the project.

The Gravity Bar Guinness Storehouse, Dublin, has received a Merit for the high standard of design achieved at the The Structural Steel Design Awards 2020. PJ Hegarty & Sons would like to congratulate all our staff members who were involved in this landmark project.

PJ Hegarty & Sons were a winner at the Irish Construction Excellence (ICE) Awards 2020. During  a virtual ceremony held on Saturday night, the Haulbowline Island East Tip Remediation Project was announced as the winner in the Civil Engineering Category. We would like to congratulate all our staff members who were involved in the project on this notable achievement.

PJ Hegarty & Sons are delighted to announce that the Haulbowline East Tip Remediation Project has been chosen as the Engineering Project of the Year 2019 at the Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards held in Dublin on November 15th. The Design and Build Project has seen the 22-acre Haulbowline Island East Tip in Cork Harbour transformed from a desolate, toxic, industrial site into a magnificent public recreational facility for local residents, workers and visitors in what has been one of the biggest environmental works in the history of the State. The project won in the flagship category of Project of the Year which is voted for by a panel of judges and the public, and was also the joint winner of the Local Authority Engineering Initiative Award. Congratulations to Paul Feeney and his team on the deserved recognition for this project.

The refurbishment of No.40. Molesworth Street  wins the Refurbishment / Retrofit / Fit Out Award at the  Irish Construction Excellence (ICE) Awards, held at The Mansion House, Dublin on 23rd March 2018.

The redevelopment of No.10. Molesworth Street won the 'Building of the Year - Large Office' Award  at the gala ceremony held in the Mansion House, Dublin on 4th October 2018.

The restoration and conservation of Kilmainham Courthouse wins the Irish Building of the Year award at the Irish Building & Design Awards (IBDA) 2017. The award ceremony took place on 7th April 2017 at The Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin 4. PJ Hegarty & Sons, as main contractor, completed the project in time for the 1916 centenary celebrations.
