We are delighted to have received two awards at the 34th Annual National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) Occupational Health & Safety Awards. PJ Hegarty was recognised with both the Consistent High Achiever Award and the Regional Award for the Eastern Region.

These awards highlight our commitment to health and safety. They reflect the collective efforts of our teams and partners. We recognise the hard work and dedication of our EHS team in creating a positive safety culture across all our sites.

Domestic Abuse Awareness Webinar

We were joined by Women’s Aid for an impactful webinar. The focus was on raising awareness of domestic abuse and its impact in the workplace.

At PJ Hegarty, our values include safety, Sustainability, Inclusivity, Relationships, and Forward Thinking. All of which go hand in hand with addressing the societal issue of domestic violence. We have enrolled in ‘The Employer Response to Domestic Abuse’ training programme offered by Women’s Aid, ensuring we play an active part in addressing and preventing domestic violence and abuse in society.

Celebrating Pride 2025

This year, we celebrated Pride with a coffee morning across our sites and offices. This allowed us to come together and celebrate being a part of a company that keeps diversity and inclusion at the heart of it’s culture.

As part of this, we’ve also distributed whiteboards, inviting everyone to pledge their respect and support for their colleagues and communities.

At PJ Hegarty, we’re proud to champion a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and free to be themselves, not just during Pride, but every day of the year.

 

 

Our Client centenary Celebration in Cork

On Thursday, May 29th, we celebrated our Centenary in the Southern Region at the Irish Distillers Midleton Distillery Experience in Cork. Commemorating 100 years in the county where it all began made this evening especially meaningful. It was a night to reflect on the journey of PJ Hegarty, the milestones we have achieved since our founding in Cork in 1925, and to celebrate and reminisce with our clients, partners, and friends who have made it all possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion, and to all those who have contributed to our journey over the past 100 years. Here’s to continuing that legacy for generations to come!

Dublin celebrates 100 Years of PJ Hegarty

On Thursday, May 15th, we had the pleasure of welcoming clients, partners, and friends to the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin to celebrate a major milestone, 100 wonderful years in business.

It was a special evening reflecting on our journey, the achievements we’ve shared, and the incredible people who have supported us along the way.
