Joining PJ Hegarty in 1993 as a Graduate Civil Engineer, Maurice has gained over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, delivering complex, high‑value projects across the civil, industrial, pharmaceutical, life science and commercial sectors.
Maurice’s proactive, collaborative and structured leadership style has underpinned a consistent track record of successful project delivery for both public and private sector clients. Following his appointment to the Main Board in 2022, he served as Operations Director for the Southern Region prior to his appointment as Managing Director in 2026.
