IRISH DISTILLERS BOTTLING FACILITY EXPANSION

This project saw an expansion of Irish Distillers’ Fox and Geese bottling facility in Clondalkin, Dublin, in order to develop and increase capacity at what is the primary bottling plant for all IDL spirits. The expansion was one of the first projects in the company’s ongoing investment plan for its Irish distillery, bottling and storage sites in Dublin and Cork.

The expansion involved the construction of a new tank farm and tanker loading facility, as well as a new utility building and pipe rack connecting the new build to the preexisting building. PJ Hegarty carried out all associated site services in the busy and operational site, including road realignment, landscaping and drainage works. Phase 2 saw the construction of a tanker-unloading building and a central control building, as well as an expansion of the storage warehouses and an increase in laboratory and office space. Upgrades were also carried out to existing equipment.
