This project marked the end of an era in Gorey, Co Wexford, when PJ Hegarty built a modern An Post facility on the outskirts of the town — ending over 140 years of post being sorted at The Avenue post office. The building works included the construction of a new Delivery Services Unit consisting of offices located on mezzanine level, car parking and associated site development works at IDA Industrial Estate in Gorey.
